Our story

Born from a belief that quality healthcare belongs at home.

Benevita Home Health Care Ltd was founded by a team of healthcare and technology professionals who shared a common conviction: every Kenyan patient deserves access to professional, dignified medical care — without having to leave the comfort and familiarity of home.

Our vision is to become the most trusted provider of professional home-based healthcare services in Kenya — delivering compassionate, affordable, and patient-centred medical care wherever our patients are.

Our mission is to provide personalised, evidence-based home healthcare that promotes dignity, healing, and continuity of care for patients and families across Kenya. We treat every home as a place of healing and every patient as a member of our family.

From wound care and skilled nursing to physiotherapy and elderly care, Benevita operates like a healthcare dispatch platform — matching the right nurse or clinician to every patient, every time, with the speed and reliability that modern home care demands.

What we stand for

Five values that guide every single visit.

Compassion & Dignity

We treat every patient with kindness and respect, honouring their dignity in every interaction — regardless of their condition or background.

Clinical Excellence

Our clinicians uphold the highest standards of evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and professional accountability.

Trust & Reliability

Families count on us to show up — on time, prepared, and consistent. We build trust through action, not words.

Patient-Centred Care

Every care plan is built around the individual — their needs, their home, their family, and their goals for recovery and wellbeing.

Professional Integrity

We operate with transparency, ethical conduct, and accountability — in our clinical work, our finances, and our relationships with partners.

Getting started

Professional home care in four simple steps.

STEP 01

Request care

Call our care line, fill out the contact form, or ask your doctor to refer you. Our intake team is available 24/7 — including evenings and weekends.

STEP 02

Free in-home assessment

A registered nurse visits your home at no cost to assess your needs, review doctor's orders, and understand your home environment and family situation.

STEP 03

Personalised care plan

We build a care plan together with you, your family, and your doctor — covering services, frequency of visits, goals, and expected outcomes.

STEP 04

Care begins

Our nurse or therapist arrives on schedule. You receive updates after every visit, and your care coordinator adjusts the plan as your needs evolve.

Why families choose Benevita

Care that puts you first — always.

Consistent caregivers

We assign the same nurse to your case so trust builds, your history is known, and nothing important falls through the cracks.

Real people, 24/7

When you call, a person picks up — not a recording. Our on-call team is available nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Licenced & vetted professionals

Every nurse and therapist is registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya, background-checked, and supervised by a clinical lead.

Doctor-coordinated care

We send visit reports to your doctor after every skilled visit and contact them immediately if we notice any change in your condition.

NHIF & insurance-friendly

We work with NHIF and most major Kenyan health insurers. Our team verifies your benefits before the first visit — no hidden surprises.

Real-time visit tracking

Track your nurse in real-time, receive arrival notifications, and review visit reports directly on our platform — just like a modern dispatch service.

Patient stories

What our patients and families tell us.

After my father's surgery the doctor recommended home nursing. Benevita sent a nurse the very next morning. The wound healed perfectly and my father never had to go back to the hospital for dressings.
Amina K.
Daughter, Westlands, Nairobi
My mother is 82 and lives alone. Knowing a Benevita nurse checks on her daily for her blood pressure and medications gives our whole family peace of mind — we can't thank them enough.
David O.
Son, Karen, Nairobi
I needed physiotherapy after my knee replacement. Having sessions at home — on my schedule, in my own space — made all the difference. I was walking normally within six weeks.
Grace M.
